Another seven days, another seven photographs.
Monday - Back to lectures, back to reality. With this week down I have eleven weeks of teaching left before exams and graduation. An equally sickening and exciting prospect.
Tuesday - When I was home for my birthday (for the first time in four years) I mentioned without thinking that the one thing that I'd miss would be the annual delivery of flowers on my birthday. Mum decided to spoil me even more than she already had with a surprise bouquet in the post on Tuesday.
Wednesday - Ben's Mum does Slimming World, and when we were at his last week we had quite a few meals using her recipe books. I was astounded at how delicious they were, so she surprised me with sending a few of the books up with Ben when he had to make a quick trip home again this week for an interview. Healthy and tasty, what more could you want?
Thursday - I can't even talk about this. It's the only thing I looked at all day, so the only thing I could take a photo of. It's occupancy modelling. If you're interested. Which you're not. Because nobody is. It's quite useful for a zoologist though.
Friday - Such a beautiful, beautiful sky on the way home from class. It made a wonderful change from all the rain we've been having recently. I hope none of you are struggling in the floods affecting the South of England at the moment, and if you are my heart goes out to you.
Saturday - We're working on a sideline project for the magazine, which involved mugshots. This is my lovely mug, with my partner in crime.
Sunday - Okay maybe I lied. Another six photos. I'm having serious camera issues at the moment. My usual Olympus EP1 thinks all memory cards inserted into it are on write protect even though they're not, so won't take any photographs. I just took my back up Lumix point and shoot to the post box with me and took a lovely snap of me posting some letters. As I put the memory card into the computer I accidentally clicked yes when my antivirus asked if I wanted it to scan the card. It found a threat and all photos on the card were deleted. I'm too irritated to think of anything else to photograph, so imagine instead of this rant a photograph lots of coloured envelopes going into a shiny red post box.
I hope your Sunday is better than mine :)
