Week 1

After New Year I took a few days away in a tiny cottage in the middle of the countryside with absolutely no signal. It was a wonderful break and I'll tell you all about it soon.

But first I want to tell you about something I'm planing on doing this year - a 365project. Each week I'll share with you seven photos in one post, one photograph from each day. I've seen a lot of blogs that did this last year, and it seems like a really interesting project (if you can keep it going...). Fingers crossed I'll manage it - I think I almost take a photo a day already. At the end of the year I'll have a little memory of every day.

I'll usually be updating on Sundays, because I know I usually have a bit of time. This first post I'll just be doing the 1st - 5th, so today is a fake Sunday (a perfect excuse to relax and watch TV tonight).

My Dad took Ben and I to see The Hobbit on New Years Day.

A beautiful car ride to the cottage.

A hill Ben and I climbed on a wander around the cottage.

Some climbing ivy around a ruin in a Nature Reserve.

A hay bale floating in a reservoir. I can only imagine how it got there!

    1. I did enjoy it, it's hard to explain, but I just like looking at films like the Hobbit - the scenery is so amazing, and it's filmed so well. It was just a bonus that I enjoyed the story too!

  2. I'm also doing a 365project and posting the photos to my blog each week :) I'm hoping it'll serve as a motivation to do at least one thing worth taking a photograph of each week. x
