Week Nine

Monday - A selfie to start the week, as Monday was terribly uneventful.

Tuesday - On the way home from a very dull meeting I was reminded how lucky I am to live in such a historic area.

Wednesday - Lunch outside! In February! Madness but very enjoyable in the sunshine.

Thursday - After a tip off from a thoughtful lecturer at 10:20pm, hasty phone calls were made and  a desperate scrabble for seats resulted in six people piling into a five seater car and five people squeezing into a four seater. A mad twenty minute dash down the road later and we were sat on a sand dune watching the Northern Lights. Words can't begin to describe how amazing it was, especially after many failed attempts in the past. My only complaint was that my camera still isn't talking to me and all I had was my phone - not good enough to capture the lights themselves.

Friday - Make your own pizza night! A roaring success with mouthwatering pizzas being produced and great fun to catch up with people.

Saturday - Surprise breakfast in bed that Ben picked up on the way back from an errand on Saturday morning.

Sunday - The dizzying view from the library cafe.

  1. Ahh lucky you to see the northern lights!!

It's something I'm desperate to see, sounds like it would have been an incredible night.

    Hmm maybe...

  2. I was so jealous that you got to eat lunch outside in February, then I saw you saw the Northern Lights! *jealous* I'm so jealous that I didn't see these - was scrolling through the photos people had uploaded and I'm just amazed at how beautiful they are. One day!
